Responsible Beverage Server Training
Rolette County Public Health is partnering with the communities and law enforcement throughout the county to implement Responsible Beverage Server Training (RBS). By working together, we can reduce
alcohol-related problems in Rolette County.
What is Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training?
RBS is designed to educate owners, managers, servers and sellers at alcohol establishments about strategies to avoid illegally selling alcohol to underage youth and intoxicated customers.
Server training is aimed to assist alcohol servers with:
•understanding/complying with the law
• detecting and deterring underage purchase or consumption of alcohol
•detection of and intervention with intoxicated persons
•heightening awareness of the use of fake or false IDs
•proper procedures when dealing with an underage person attempting to purchase
